The first park I visited in Utah was a state park. Goblin Valley State Park is in the middle of nowhere. It's not a big park, only 9,115-acres. It features thousands of hoodoos or goblins, mushroom-shaped rock pinnacles. The unusual stone shapes result from the weathering of (Entrada) sandstone. It was fun to walk amongst the goblins and guess what they looked like. My travel mate was Mary Beth. We had slipped away from the NACAA meeting in Salt Lake City.
Looks like a dude with a crooked smile
