Unfortunately, it was raining (a lot) when we visited the Giant's Causeway, one of Northern Ireland's most popular tourist attractions and a World Heritage Site. The Giant's Causeway is a geological wonder with spectacular rock formations. There are stepping stones and columns of rocks. Everything you see is the result of lava cooling from volcanic eruptions that occurred over 65 million years ago. I would love to go back when it's not raining. I would do more exploring and climbing. When we were there, the rocks were too slippery to venture too high.
