The Basin

The Basin is a 30-foot-wide and 15-foot-deep natural granite pothole located in Franconia Notch State Park along the Pemigewasset River in New Hampshire. It was the last thing we visited in New Hampshire. After a side trip to Dog Mountain (in Vermont), we headed home.
