The Sam Eckman Covered Bridge was built in 1876 for $498. You can drive across the 65-foot long one-lane bridge which sits in the middle of picturesque farmland. It is well-preserved with no recent rehabilitation or catastrophic collapses.
The Jud Christian Covered Bridge No. 95 is 65 feet long. It was built in 1876 and was named after a local lumberman. It is open to traffic, single lane like the other bridges. Unlike many other covered bridges, while maintained, it has not undergone major reconstruction.
The Kramer Covered Bridge was surrounded by vegetation and even though you could drive through it, I wasn't able to get a very good picture. The 50-foot long bridge was built in 1881. It is named after a local farmer and underwent major rehabilitation in 2007.
The East and West Paden Covered Bridges are the only twin bridges in Pennsylvania and one of only two sets in the US. Despite their shared name and location, the bridges feature different designs, including different lengths and widths.
