Our Nation's Capitol

I've been to Washington DC many times. I went when I was very young. I went on school field trips. I went many other times. I'd like to go back. There are places I've never seen and other places I'd like to see again.

The South Building is located on the National Mall. It is the headquarters of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Upon its completion in 1936, it was the world's largest office building. When the Pentagon was completed, it took over that honor. The South Building was almost my office. I turned down a job offer with the Risk Management Agency. I couldn't bring myself to work in Washington DC in an office with no windows.
