A capital city

September 2025 -- We spent our last two nights in Reykjavik and one day exploring the city, including the Phallological Museum (aka the penis museum). We stayed at the CityHub, a unique pod hotel in the city center.

The population of Iceland is just shy of 400,000, the majority of which live in the capital region of Reykjavik.  The population of Reykjavik is about 129,000. Reykjavik is the world's northern most capital.  It has no McDonald's or Starbucks. Cat's are the city's preferred pet. There was a 60-year ban on dogs than ended in 1984.
