Kilimanjaro Safari

December 14, 2017 -- A visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom wouldn't be complete without the safari. It's an open-air truck ride through a 110 acre wildlife refuge, seeing various free-roaming animals. It probably would have been more exciting if both of us hadn't already been on real African safaris. We saw elephants, giraffes, rhinos and other animals.

In the same vicinity, there was a walk-through exhibit with gorillas, meerkats, and an aviary. There was also an underwater hippo, surrounded by fish.
