The Saco River Covered Bridge in North Conway is one of 80-some covered bridges in New Hampshire. It was a quick stop to start my second day of travel. The bridge was built in 1890. An earlier bridge was swept away in 1869. The bridge was restored in the late 1980s. It is approximately 225 feet long and is open to traffic.
