We stopped for a quick photo stop at the Kilt Rock viewpoint. Kilt Rock is an almost 300 foot sea cliff on the Isle of Skye. It's vertical basal columns are said to look like the cleats of a Scottish kilt. Mealt Falls flow directly over the cliff, dumping water from Loch Mealt into the Sound of Raasay below. We could only view the cliff and falls from the side, but they were still a sight to behold. But, no opportunities for creative photography. A drone or boat would have been necessary to get different angles of the cliffs (columns) and waterfall.
