Tillamook

September 2009 -- When I was in Oregon for the NACAA meeting, Stan F., a former Maryland colleague, took us several places. We visited the Oregon coast line and Mt. St. Helens. We also went to Tillamook Cheese and the Tillamook Air Museum.

The Tillamook County Creamery Association is a farmer-owned dairy cooperative headquartered in Tillamook County, Oregon, United States. The association manufactures and sells dairy products under the "Tillamook" brand name. The creamery was celebrating its 100 year anniversary in 2009.


The Tillamook Air Museum is an aviation museum south of Tillamook, Oregon. The museum is located at a former US Navy Air Station and housed in a former blimp hangar, known as "Hangar B", which is the largest clear span wooden structure in the world.
