July 19, 2024 -- I spent one day in Paris. Obviously it's not enough time, but it gave me a bit of taste of the place. Unfortunately, security and preparations for the upcoming Olympics kept me from seeing much. I guess I saw the two most iconic landmarks in Paris: the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. I couldn't get too close to the Eiffel Tower. The latter was pretty awesome. I imagined tanks rolling victoriously through the Arc after Paris was liberated during the WWII.
I found a magnet with the only two things I really saw in Paris.
