Producers Livestock

June 7, 2016 -- The 2016 NCERA 214 meeting included a day or so of tours. One of the places we visited was Producers Livestock Auction (in San Angelo). Producers Livestock Auction is recognized as the largest sheep and goat market in the US. They typically market between 3000 and 7000 sheep and goats per week. The numbers were probably higher when I visited in 2016, as the sheep and goat industry has declined over the 10 years since.
