Okay, so chickens aren't my favorite animal, but they may be a good subject for taking pictures. They have such unique faces and expressions. I'm sure I will discover more about them as I continue to take their pictures. I may even start to like them (don't tell anyone!).
My dad's venture into raising poultry has started with a group of Cornish cross chickens that he is raising for meat. In fact, they are due to be slaughtered next week. It is amazing how fast they grow to market (eating) size.
