Around the Mountain

October 1990 -- Mount Rainier is a heavily glaciated active volcano located in Washington state. It rises approximately 14,400 feet, dominating the Cascade Range. It is the centerpiece of Mount Rainier National Park. Mom and I drove around it during our visit to Seattle. The scenery was breathtaking.
