Tower Bridge

The Tower Bridge is one of London's defining landmarks. In 2019, I walked what seemed like "forever" to get to the Tower Bridge. I passed the Tower of London and saw the HMS Belfast.  The Tower Bridge is sometimes confused with the London Bridge, which is 0.5 miles upstream. Neither one has fallen down. Tower Bridge officially opened in 1894. During the second world war, it was a target for enemy action, due to its obvious importance. Tower Bridge is a busy crossing over the Thames, with 40,000 people crossing it each day, via foot or transport. I walked across it, both ways.
