My political myths

  1. If you favor a strong immigration policy, you're anti-diversity.
  2. If you oppose affirmative action, you're racist.
  3. If you don't like President O'bama, you're a racist.
  4. If you didn't vote for President O'bama, you're a racist.
  5. That the Democratic party is the party of the "common man."
  6. That gun control will solve anything.
  7. That taxing the rich will improve the economy.
  8. That tax rates are too low.
  9. That big government is the answer.
  10. That every kid should get a college education.
  11. That health care is the responsibility of the federal government.
  12. That universal health insurance will improve health care.
  13. That political gridlock is always bad.
  14. That other countries can serve as a model for the U.S.
  15. That the government knows what's best for children.
